Over the past several weeks, I’ve been sharing my journey toward the upcoming 3-Day ClickBank Profit Challenge on October 6–8.

But today I want to make an important adjustment.

I’ve spent a lot of time talking about the Challenge.

Maybe too much.

Because the 3-Day Challenge isn’t the entire opportunity.

For someone just beginning, it may not even be the best place to start.

Let’s Go Back to the Beginning

The reason I started SpareTimeProfit.com wasn’t simply to promote one Challenge.

My bigger goal is to explore ways retirees, beginners and everyday people can learn about building additional income in their spare time.

Affiliate marketing is one of those possibilities.

And ClickBank gives affiliates access to many different digital products they can choose to investigate and potentially promote.

That means the opportunity is much bigger than one product or one three-day event.

So Where Does the Opportunity Begin?

I believe it begins with learning.

Before worrying about making a sale, we need to understand the system.

How do you choose a product?

How do you promote it?

Where does your traffic come from?

How do you build an audience?

Why would somebody trust your recommendation?

How do you build an email list?

How do you follow up with interested people?

Those are the questions I’ve been exploring throughout this journey.

And that brings me back to ClickBank Profit Club (CBPC).

Start by Learning About CB Profit Club

One reason CB Profit Club interests me is that it isn’t simply about giving somebody an affiliate link and saying:

“Good luck. Go make sales.”

There is training and a system behind it.

If you’re completely new, you don’t necessarily have to jump immediately into every paid training opportunity you see.

You can first learn more about CB Profit Club and see what it’s about.

Then you decide whether you want to go further.

No pressure.

ClickBank Has More Than One Opportunity

This is another area I want Spare Time Profit to explore more.

ClickBank isn’t one product.

There are products across many different categories.

That creates an important lesson for affiliate marketers:

Don’t build your entire business around one offer.

Build an audience.

Create useful content.

Learn what your visitors are interested in.

Then investigate products that may genuinely fit those interests.

That’s a much stronger long-term strategy.

Going forward, I’m going to continue sharing what I’m learning about:

CB Profit Club

Traffic Strategies

Email List Building

Follow-Up

Online Business Tools

and other practical subjects that may help beginners build something online.

I’m also going to continue exploring subjects that are part of my own life and interests, including St. Croix, Caribbean travel, cruises and practical preparedness.

Spare Time Profit is becoming bigger than one promotion.

That’s exactly what I want.

We’re absolutely continuing.

I’m looking forward to it.

But I want to put it in the proper place.

Learn.

Explore.

What I’m Changing at Spare Time Profit

This is an important point in my journey.

I’m no longer asking:

“How can I promote this one offer harder?”

I’m asking:

“How can I build something useful that gives me multiple opportunities?”

That’s a much better question.

My website is the foundation.

Content brings people here.

Trust gives them a reason to return.

CB Profit Club is one opportunity they can investigate.

The upcoming Challenge is another training option.

Other relevant ClickBank products can provide additional opportunities as I continue developing the site.

That’s the direction I’m taking.

My Goal Hasn’t Changed

I’m retired twice—from the military and the Department of Defense.

I’m not looking for another full-time job.

I’m looking at ways to use some of my spare time productively while continuing to enjoy life, travel and my time between the islands and mainland.

And I know I’m not the only retiree or beginner interested in doing that.

That’s who Spare Time Profit is for.

The Challenge Journey Continues — But So Does Spare Time Profit

October 6 is getting closer.

I’ll continue covering the Challenge before, during and after the live training.

But starting today, you’ll also see me broaden the conversation.

We’re going to talk more about:

Finding good affiliate products.

Getting the right traffic.

Building an audience.

Building an email list.

Using follow-up.

Creating useful content.

And building something that isn’t dependent on one offer.

That’s what Spare Time Profit is really about.

And we’re just getting started.
