Over the past several weeks, I’ve spent a lot of time talking about the ClickBank Profit Challenge.
Maybe too much.
I recently stopped and asked myself an important question:
Is one three-day Challenge really what SpareTimeProfit.com is supposed to be about?
My answer is no.
The Challenge can be one opportunity to learn more about affiliate marketing, but it isn’t the entire opportunity.
The bigger purpose of SpareTimeProfit.com is to help retirees, beginners, and everyday people explore practical ways to build additional income online—in their spare time and without needing another full-time job.
And that’s where I want to take this blog from here.
My Goal Is Bigger Than One Challenge
I’m retired twice—from the U.S. military and the Department of Defense.
At this stage of my life, I’m not looking for another full-time job. I’m interested in learning how online marketing can potentially create additional income that can help with everyday expenses, travel, vacations, cruises, and simply enjoying retirement.
That’s one of the reasons I started exploring affiliate marketing.
And if you’re a retiree or beginner trying to figure this business out, I want to share what I’m learning with you.
I’m not promising overnight riches.
I’m not telling you that one program is going to change your life.
I’m documenting the process.
ClickBank Is Much Bigger Than One Product
This is something I don’t want beginners to overlook.
ClickBank isn’t just the ClickBank Profit Challenge. There are many different products and categories that affiliates can explore.
That means our job isn’t necessarily to find one product and promote it forever.
We can learn how to:
Choose offers → attract visitors → build an email list → follow up → test results → improve.
That’s the kind of affiliate-marketing foundation I want us to build here.

I’m still following the Challenge.
The live training is scheduled for October 6–8, and I’ll continue sharing useful updates as we get closer.
But from this point forward, I’m treating the Challenge as optional additional training, rather than making it the entire focus of SpareTimeProfit.com.
