ClickBank for Beginners Update #12: The 3-Day ClickBank Profit Challenge Is Complete! Here’s What Was Covered

The live ClickBank Profit Challenge has officially finished!

Over three days, John Thornhill and the CB Profit Club team covered three important parts of building an affiliate marketing business:

DEPLOYMENT β†’ TRAFFIC β†’ AUTOMATION

And as I continue my own journey with SpareTimeProfit.com, I believe there’s an important lesson here for beginners, retirees, and anyone trying to build something online in their spare time.

Getting an affiliate link is only the beginning.

What matters is understanding the process that comes after it.

Day 1: DEPLOYMENT β€” Get Your Foundation in Place

The first day focused on understanding how the CBPC system works, getting a funnel live, and building an email list.

A funnel gives visitors a path to follow. Instead of simply clicking an affiliate link and disappearing, interested visitors may have an opportunity to subscribe and learn more.

That brings me to one of the biggest lessons I’ve been exploring on SpareTimeProfit.com:

Your email list can be more valuable over time than a single click.

An affiliate marketer needs to understand where visitors go, what they see, and what happens next.

Day 2: TRAFFIC β€” Three Ways to Find Visitors

Day 2 introduced three approaches to traffic:

CREATE IT β€” BORROW IT β€” PAY FOR IT

Creating traffic can mean publishing useful blog articles, videos, or other content that helps people discover you.

Borrowing traffic can involve reaching audiences through other people’s platforms, communities, partnerships, or approved promotional opportunities.

Paying for traffic means purchasing advertising, such as solo ads or other paid placements.

This topic interests me personally because I’ve experimented with solo advertising, mailers, and traffic exchanges.

But there’s something I want every beginner to understand:

More visitors don’t automatically mean more customers.

The visitors need to be interested in what you’re offering, and you need a way to measure the results.

Day 3: AUTOMATION β€” What Happens After Someone Joins?

The third day focused on follow-up.

According to John’s recap, the training covered a 30-day automated email sequence, broadcasting to subscribers, and continuing to build relationships after someone joins a list.

This is an area I believe beginners sometimes overlook.

We concentrate on getting the first click, but what happens afterward?

Does the visitor receive useful information?

Is there a clear next step?

Are follow-up messages helpful and relevant?

Automation can help keep communication consistent, but it still needs thoughtful messages and respect for subscribers.

Automation isn’t a substitute for trust. It is a tool for maintaining communication.

The Challenge Replays

Although the live event has finished, John announced that recordings of all three sessions are available through the Challenge Hub for eligible participants.

The materials described include:

  • All three training replays
  • Homework from each day
  • The Freedom Number Calculator
  • Challenge resources and training materials

John also announced a limited final registration opportunity with a 50% discount for eligible CB Profit Club members.

Because this offer is time-sensitive, visitors should check the official registration information for current availability and eligibility.

What This Means for SpareTimeProfit.com

I’m retired twice, first from the military and then from the Department of Defense.

My interest in affiliate marketing isn’t about starting another full-time job.

It’s about learning practical online-business skills that might help me develop additional income over time.

And this three-part framework gives me a clearer way to organize that learning:

First, build the foundation.

Second, find the right visitors.

Third, communicate and follow up.

Of course, none of this guarantees income. Results depend on the offer, the audience, the work involved, expenses, and how effectively the process is implemented.

But I believe understanding the fundamentals is a better starting point than chasing one product after another.

What Comes Next?

I’m going to take these three Challenge topics and explore them individually here on SpareTimeProfit.com.

In Update #13, we’ll start with Deployment and look more closely at why a funnel and an email list matter.

Then we’ll examine the three traffic approaches in Update #14 and email automation in Update #15.

My goal is to continue sharing useful information for retirees and beginners interested in affiliate marketing.
